Variants of P Systems with Toxic Objects

چکیده
Toxic objects have been introduced to avoid trap rules, especially in (purely) catalytic P systems. No toxic object is allowed to stay idle during a valid derivation in a P system with toxic objects. In this paper we consider special variants of toxic P systems where the set of toxic objects is predefined – either by requiring all objects to be toxic or all catalysts to be toxic or all objects except the catalysts to be toxic. With all objects staying inside and being toxic, purely catalytic P systems cannot go beyond the finite sets, neither as generating nor as accepting systems. With allowing the output to be sent to the environment, exactly the regular sets can be generated. With non-cooperative systems with all objects being toxic we can generate exactly the Parikh sets of languages generated by extended Lindenmayer systems. Catalytic P systems with all catalysts being toxic can generate at least PsMAT .

New variants of the global Krylov type methods for linear systems with multiple right-hand sides arising in elliptic PDEs
In this paper, we present new variants of global bi-conjugate gradient (Gl-BiCG) and global bi-conjugate residual (Gl-BiCR) methods for solving nonsymmetric linear systems with multiple right-hand sides. These methods are based on global oblique projections of the initial residual onto a matrix Krylov subspace. It is shown that these new algorithms converge faster and more smoothly than the Gl-...

Systems Architecture is a generic discipline to handle objects (existing or to be created) called systems, in a way that supports reasoning about the structural properties of these objects. Systems Architecture is a response to the conceptual and practical difficulties of the description and the design of complex systems. Systems Architecture is a generic discipline to handle objects (existin...

In this paper, we present soliton-like solutions of the non-linear complex Klein-Gordon systems in 1+1 dimensions. We will use polar representation to introduce three different soliton-like solutions including, complex kinks (anti-kinks), radiative profiles, and localized wave-packets. Complex kinks (anti-kinks) are topological objects with zero electrical charges. Radiative profiles are object...
متن کاملA Class of P Automata for Characterizing Context-free Languages
Membrane systems, or P systems, are distributed computing models inspired by the functioning of the living cell. Their main components are membrane structures consisting of membranes hierarchically embedded in the outermost skin membrane. Each membrane encloses a region containing a multiset of objects and possibly other membranes. Each region has an associated set of operators working on the o...
متن کاملP Systems with String Objects and with Communication by Request
In this paper we study P systems using string-objects where the communication between the regions is indicated by the occurrence of so-called query symbols in the string. We define two variants of communication and prove that these systems with both types of communication are computationally complete, even having a number of membranes limited with relatively small constants.
